Koh Samui has always attracted those in search of a place to chill and with the change in visitor demographics has come about a rapid expansion of Spa facilities and resorts, offering an ever wider scope of treatments. Samui has now evolved into a major centre for spas and wellness, with many world-class facilities and treatments available.

Prices in the up market establishments have certainly increased but usually remain lower than similar offerings in the west. From as little as 250 baht for a simple beach massage to a high end pampering spa treatment for 6,000 baht or more, there is something for every budget.




Samui has a reputation as a laid back getaway, somewhere to re-charge the batteries, and no holiday is complete without partaking in the pamperings available from the many treatment centres and spa's around the island. There are now far too many places to maintain a full list. Virtually all of the hotels have Spas and many other places around the island. There are also many treatments available, de toxes, life coaching, reiki and many others that can be located with a little searching on line.

And when the time comes to leave the island, get to the airport a little earlier than necessary and prepare for the journey ahead with a last chance massage.
